Just past the East Mebon is the Ta Som temple. It is a rather smallish temple that can be explored in a few minutes. This temple was built in the 13th century and is rather similar in features to Ta Prohm. The entrance of the temple is decorated with detailed carvings of some deities.
The gopura of this temple resembles the one seen at the Bayon including the face on top. On one side the temple is also overrun by vegetation, giving it that Ta Prohm look. In fact this place really feels like a small Bayon/Ta Prohm.
