Inside the Marina Bay Sands Hotel
The Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore is one of the most iconic buildings in the city state. It also is the centerpiece of a large entertainment complex around the Marina Bay area. It is officially called an integrated resort, one which features various forms of entertainment, shopping, hotels, restaurants and finally gambling. There was a strong reaction at first to the introduction of casinos in Singapore and that it was repeatedly clarified that it is an integrated resort and not just a casino. To be fair, you can come here without gambling at all, in fact, you have to go out of your way to find the casino if you really wanted to go there.
Passing Through the Marina Bay Sands Hotel
Now, the Marina Bay Sands is one of the more high end places in Singapore and it isn’t exactly cheap here. Obviously, this is more targeted to tourists who have money, not for people like me. I was only passing through but it is still nice to be able to experience how it is here. I would imagine how it would be to stay here in this hotel if only for a few days. I guess someday, I would be able to find the funds to be stay here but for now, I can only look.
