Multiple Flavor Xiaolongbao at the Paradise Dynasty
I was in the city state of Singapore for several days to get some paperwork done. I actually allocated a bit more time that I think I needed but it would be better to be safe than sorry. I don’t know how long the process would take so I think it was better to have a little more time than just right. While I was at it, I will be visiting places that I have been to previously and, of course, I will be meeting up with friends for dinner. This time, we will be meeting up at Paradise Dynasty.
Pork Chop Fried Rice at Paradise Dynasty
I must admit that this isn’t a place that I frequent when I was still living here. I am aware of this place it was just that I always go to the other shops first. As could be hinted from the name, Paradise Dynasty is a mostly Chinese food place. If you have been long time readers of this blog, you will know that I am a huge fan of Chinese food. I know that Paradise Dynasty has good food but I think it was one of those places that you need to have friends for to go to. Fortunately, at least for today, I have friends to eat with!
Ginger and Onion Fish at Paradise Dynasty
It not hard to find good stuff to eat at Paradise Dynasty. However, one of their most promoted dishes is their xiaolongbao, which come in various flavors. I tend to frown at gimmicks like these, I prefer my food to be as original as it can be. I know, doing this helps to distinguish the place from the competition but I am not a fan of modifying the food like this. Having tasted the flavored xiaolongbao, I will say that they were good, but I still prefer the original flavor. We got various other dishes like the pork chop fried rice which is a favorite of mine. We also got a serving of mapo tofu which is also another favorite. The food was very good and it was better when having it with old friends. Admittedly, I still have my biases and I don’t think this will still be my first choice when it comes to this kind of food, I am sure most people will be very happy with the food here. They have several branches all over Asia, so it is not too hard to find one if you are in the region.
