Going to the Grand Mosque in Bursa

I guess I just needed to tick Cumalikizik Village off my list of UNESCO World Heritage sites to visit. I probably just can’t appreciate the Ottoman era village since it looks so similar to undeveloped villages that I have seen elsewhere in the world. The only thing that distinguishes this one is that they were built in the Ottoman period. I decided to call it quits and just head out of the village. Fortunately, transportation isn’t difficult here since there will always be a minibus dropping visitors at the entrance.

The minibus followed the roundabout way it took coming up the hill and eventually made it back to the main highway. Now, I need to figure out a way to get to the next spot. I was intending to go to the Grand Mosque of Bursa so I took mistakenly took a bus to Kent Meydani, which turned out to be a shopping mall. It wasn’t that bad but I still took the chance to grab my lunch at the food court there. It wasn’t anything special but I just need to keep going. Kent Medyani happens to also be a major tram stop and one of the lines goes past the Grand Mosque in Bursa. Fortunately, I have the transport card with me and I was just tapping my way through their transport network. All the while, I was keeping an eye on the map and to make sure that I get off the train at the correct stop.
