I know I just arrived here at the city of Strasbourg but I can see that it really is a very beautiful city. The city was wonderfully preserved quarters and monuments that it is real pleasure to be walking here. Unsurprisingly, there are also a lot of people here even if you don’t take the pandemic into consideration. It really feels like everything here is back to normal. Anyway, I thought to go back to the Petite France quarter of Strasbourg to take photos of the area at night. I was in the area earlier in the day, in fact, right after I got off the train but now I wanted to take photos of the place at night.
Surprisingly, the place wasn’t as pretty as I thought it would be at night. I would have imagined that there would have been a bit more lighting for the medieval buildings but for the most part is was only the street lights which were illuminating the area. There are noticeably less people here compared to earlier in the day which is fine by me. This makes walking around the area much more pleasant. It would be a great idea to walk along the canal as well. I think I have a bit of time here so I would be doing that.
