The following day turned out to be another lovely day at Glacier National Park. Much as I try to leave earlier, it was difficult for me with the my jet lag. This time, would be heading back to the easter side of Glacier National Park. The Going to the Sun Road was still closed at Logan Pass, so I have to take the long way around. This time, I won’t be going as far as Logan Pass yet. There are a number of beautiful lakes in Glacier National Park and I would be visiting of the more well known ones – Two Medicine Lake.
I actually passed by the turnoff to Two Medicine Lake the first time I went to the Going to the Sun Road. As I was climbing up the mountain on my way to the Going to the Sun Road, the road would actually pass by Two Medicine Lake. Of course, just passing by it is totally different from actually going to it. Fortunately, the drive to Two Medicine Lake wasn’t as far. I guess, I can treat this as a break if I decide to continue on to the Going to the Sun Road after this. I have an idea of what to expect here but nothing beats actually seeing it with your own eyes.
