Dinner at Kam’s Roast

I was quite surprised to see how many people were at Jewel Changi Airport, the latest landmark in Singapore. I was planning to hang out here at the mall while waiting for my flight and hopefully grab some dinner while I was at it. It seems that a lot of people also have the same idea and it was quite crowded here. I think that since the mall is open to the public, this is not part of the airport, so anyone could come here and walk around. I was walking around looking for a nice place to have a last dinner here when I saw a familiar place – Kam’s Roast.

While I have never had Kam’s Roast in Singapore, in fact, this is the first one I have seen one here, I have had a meal at Kam’s Roast Manila. As the name might imply, this is a Cantonese restaurant featuring various Cantonese roast meat such as pork belly and roast duck. Of course, I wouldn’t say no to that and I got myself a plate of each. I know that I wouldn’t be back in Singapore for a while, so I might as well get both of them. The staff took my luggage for me and they were looking after it, along with other luggage outside the restaurant. The food here is a far cry from the typical hawker roast meat you would find in town. You can see that these are well done and of course, very tasty, just like the ones you would find in Hong Kong. I hurriedly finished my food and quickly got back my luggage. Not bad at all for a last meal in Singapore.
