I know I came here to visit the Labrador Park and hoping to see interesting stuff, the truth is, I ended up getting lost and visited the nearby Berlayer Creek. It was the day I would be flying out of Singapore but I still have time before I need to go to the airport. The Berlayer Creek Mangrove Trail turned out to be just part of a larger system of trails in this area. The Berlayer Creek Mangrove Trail eventually connected to the Bukit Chermin Walkway. This is a nice little walkway which goes over the shallow waters in the area to give visitors a different view of the coast.

The Bukit Chermin Walkway in turn connects to the pedestrian walkways in this part of Keppel Bay. I have not been to this part of Singapore before but I know that this part has changed quite a bit. There is marina here which houses several boats. As you might know, Singapore attracts a lot of high net worth visitors and it is not surprising that some of them would own boats or more accurately yachts. I myself can’t even dream of owning one and I wonder how much do you need to earn to be able to have one. I guess it would be nice to be able to sail from one country to another but I think I would get sick being out at sea for so long.
