Exploring the Bukit Chermin Walkway

Clear Waters at Keppel Harbour

When I visited the Berlayer Creek, I finally visited a place which I have never been to in Singapore. I know there are lot of other less known places but I was just glad that this is an interesting enough place. What I didn’t know was that the end of the Berlayer Creek Mangrove Trail isn’t the end of the walking. It seems that the mangrove trail continues on to what is called the Bukit Chermin Walkway. I never heard of this name before but it seems that they built a walkway over the shallow water here to connect to Keppel Harbour.

It was great walking here since the skies were clear and it helps to illuminate the waters around the area. It is very seldom that I get to see these colors in Singapore and I was glad that I get to see it. The walkway isn’t very complicated. It goes over the waters here giving you the impression that you are walking over the water. Along the way, you might want to see if you can spot any fish here. The walkway continues on to the opposite side where another walk is forthcoming.
