The Marina Bay Sands is one of the crown jewels of the Marina Bay entertainment district. Even though it can be expensive to spend money here, I can always come here just to go for walks, especially at night when everything is all lit up. This is something that I would do quite often and it seems like old habits die hard. I walked quite a bit around the area when I visited the Gardens by the Bay but I just can’t help myself but go for a walk just like old times. By this time in the evening, the Marina Bay Sands is already lit up, now with that beautiful purple light which gives it that unique look. It is amazing how just a change of color can do wonders.
The purple color illuminates a lot of the normally white walls of the hotel as well as the ArtScience Museum, which I still haven’t visited. This is a prominent part of the Marina Bay Waterfront. If I had more time, I probably would have gone to see it, but it is already quite late and I still haven’t had dinner yet. There isn’t much choice when it comes to food here so I think I need to just finish up here and head to dinner.
