A couple of decades back, the Marina Bay area wasn’t a place which would interest too many people. There used to be some places to eat there but nothing really to attract a lot of people. So much has changed since there and the Marina Bay area is one of the most valuable properties in the entire city. There is a full integrated resort here, as well as a world class theater and the central business district itself has been extended as well. It is no surprise that the Marina Bay area has become one of my favorite places to go to, even if I have no business here.
At night, the Marina Bay Sands Waterfront comes to life with lights from all over. The central business district, the theater, the Helix Bridge as well as the Singapore Flyer can all be seen from here. I love to just walk around the waterfront area, and they made sure that it is a convenient place to walk at. At night, there is also a light show right in front of the Marina Bay Sands. I had no plans on watching it this time since my priority is to get my photos and grab dinner. All that walking has made me hungry.
