I spent much of the afternoon at the Gardens by the Bay and by the time I was done, it was already night time. I probably shouldn’t be that tired since my body clock should still be at around noon but I think it was the heat that sapped me of my strength. Fortunately, air-conditioning is easy to find here. By the time I was ready to get back out into the tropical weather, it was already evening and fortunately, not as hot anymore. One of the highlights in visiting the Gardens by the Bay is to watch the light show at the supertrees. There are usually a lot of people waiting for the show to start, so it was good to get there early.
I have seen the light show a couple of times here and for me it is quite good. The branches of the supertrees have LED lights on them so they shine and change color in coordination with the program. It can be a magical experience to lie under the supertrees while the show goes on and some people actually do this. In fact, I think it would be best if visitors do this if they have the space. The light show is on regularly at night and it is a fitting sendoff for any visitors leaving the park.
