Not that I didn’t have a lot of expectations when visiting the Gardens by the Bay, but I was honestly impressed with the Cloud Forest Dome. They have an indoor waterfall complete with walkway where visitors can go around and up to the top of the waterfall. The walkway was longer than I thought it would be but has a gentle slope to make it easier for everyone. The longer walkway also gives visitors a chance to have a look at various angles of the dome and it wasn’t just the waterfall, which admittedly is the centerpiece of the dome.
The top of the waterfall also gives you a closer view of the waterfall itself and all this without getting wet. You can see that the water comes out through several pipes from the top. In a way this kind of ruins the illusion that this is a natural waterfall even though we know that it isn’t. Either way, the water flows down below in a fine spray which I think is a good effect that you would want in a waterfall. By this time, I was already starting to make my way down the walkway. There is still the light show at the supertrees which I have never missed. Hopefully, I would be able to make it in time.
