Elevated Walkway at the Cloud Forest Dome

Upon first entry to the Cloud Forest Dome of the Gardens by the Bay, visitors will be greeted by the imposing tropical rainforest waterfall. Of course, this is artificial but I think they made a good version of it. The structure hides a walkway which brings visitors to the top of the waterfall and then back down. From the top of the waterfall, visitors can see much of the area around the dome as well as part beyond the Gardens by the Bay. Already, I can see that the sun is starting to go down and it also means that I need to start to make my way down.

The walkway has several parts which turn into an impressive elevated walkway which is still high above the ground. From here visitors can see unique viewpoints of the Cloud Forest Dome. This is even made more unique because of the special shape that the dome has. You also get an idea of how high you really are since you can see the walkways in the lower level. Of course, this won’t be that much higher than the local apartment blocks in the city state but the unique shapes of the dome give an impression that you are higher than you really are.
