The Cloud Forest Dome at the Gardens by the Bay is another one of the attractions here which I haven’t been to. It was built the same time as the Flower Dome and both feature glass domes. One difference is that the Flower Dome is flatter while the Cloud Forest Dome is taller as you will see soon. As you can tell from the name, the Cloud Forest would feature tropical ecosystem. Immediately, upon entering, you can immediately see the centerpiece of the entire Cloud Forest dome – the waterfall. There is a full blown waterfall here and it certainly is impressive when you see it.
There is a “mountain” from which the waterfall flows out of and the water falls down below. Incidentally, this is also where people would be taking photos. Some would get a sprinkling of water here but it is fun to be standing near the foot of a waterfall. Of course, it won’t that much fun if all you can do here is just stand at the foot of the waterfall. The main activity here at the Cloud Forest Dome is to climb it. There is a path that will take you around and up the “mountain” It certainly is several stories high, which makes this a fun activity.
