Flute from the Magical Flute
Mozarts Geburtshaus is one of the more important places to visit here in the city of Salzburg. This is especially more important if you are into music since Mozart is considered to be the greatest composer as far as western music is concerned. Not only was he good, but he also can make them at an incredible rate. Such was his dedication that it was rumored that he was still trying to finish some works even as he was dying. Towards the latter part of his short life, he even delved into opera. As you know operas a very similar to modern musicals where they also have props.

Some of these equipment and costumes are on display here at his birthplace. Of course, you can’t exactly display an entire stage here in this tiny apartment but there are reproductions of how it looked like. One of these operas is the Magical Flute. They have depictions on how it looked like and they even have a flute on display here. I believe this is a tribute to his amazing genius that he is able to make music for such diverse media. It is a shame that he passed away so soon. Despite his talents, he never got really rich and in fact was always in debt. No wonder Mozart had to compose so much stuff just to make ends meet.
