I slept like a log at the Best Western Plus Amedia Art Salzburg. All those days of just sitting at the desk has turned me lazy. I spent the previous day walking around the city center of Salzburg and I liked it. Fortunately, there wasn’t much climbing involved so it was easy enough even if I was out of shape. I have a few days allocated to Salzburg itself so I can afford to take it easy. Today, I will still be in the city center but I will still be visiting some heritage places. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is forever tied to the city of Salzburg. This is, after all, the city where he was born which makes him the city’s most famous personality.
There are a lot of things which are Mozart related here in the city. The previous night, I ended up at the Cafe Mozart which was surprisingly ordinary considering how they attached the name Mozart to the cafe. This time around, the place I will be visiting will not be just hype but is actually related to Mozart. None can be more related to the person than where he was born. This home was turned into a museum and it is open to visitors. Fortunately, it was easy for me to access this place with just a bus ride from the hotel. I got one of those bus tickets which last for several days and it is very convenient to use.
