Going Back to Hungerburg

Ski Lift at Seegrube

I finally was concluding my visit to the Nordkette mountains. I managed to climb up a mountain, something which I don’t get to do much at all. As a bonus, the mountain is covered in thick snow, also something which I don’t see much. As you can tell, I am quite pleased with my visit. I made it all the way to the top of the mountain and now I am making my way down. The way to the top is covered by four funicular tracks, that is, if one is starting from the Innsbruck. I am now making my way to the district of Hungerburg which is considered part of Innsbruck.

I don’t know if this is the longest funicular ride I have ever taken but I don’t think it matters that much since the view is spectacular. A previously stated, there are a total of four funicular tracks which cover the length of the climb to the top. At each end of the track, passengers needs to get out and transfer to the next track. My next stop is the Hungerburg station. Although I was here previously, I was only transferring cars on my way to the top. This time, I was making making my way down the mountain and I thought to have a look around and see what Hungerburg is all about.
