I was getting some final photos of the city of Innsbruck at night before I go look for food to eat. There were a lot of choices here since there are several Christmas markets nearby. You might notice that I would visit Christmas markets often. I find them an affordable place to get food as well as an enjoyable place to just hang out in. Christmas markets are a regular fixture in Europe and I believe contribute to some images of Christmas that have become common. I happened to be by the River Inn which happens to have a Christmas Market.

I actually passed by this Christmas market earlier in the day but I decided to hold off on that while I take photos of the old town of Innsbruck. By this time of the night, the Christmas markets were all very lively and packed with people. I am sure they have the same reasons as I in coming here. While there are a lot of food stalls, there are also stalls which sell Christmas handicraft. I especially like the small Christmas cottages they have here. There are also clothes on sale here such as scarves and caps. I can already see some food that I would probably like to have. There are no seats here but this is typical for Christmas markets.
