I was very happy that I was able to go up to the Town Tower of Innsbruck to take photos of the old town at night. I don’t think it is very common to be able to do that especially in a place like an old town. The lights were already on by the time I got up the tower and while conditions were not perfect, I still got a lot of shots. The town square was already packed with people when I got down. I did stay up the tower for quite a while. Much as I would like to have some snacks here at the Christmas market, I was reserving my stomach for dinner.
Before dinner, I would like to revisit one of the places which I saw along the way to the old town. I remembered that there was a row of colorful houses along the River Inn. It is one of the pretty sights to see in the city and although it is not exactly a historical site, it is one of those places you just want to see. The Christmas market is just across the river from the apartment block which makes the market the perfect places to see this row of apartments. Nothing really that different but I just wanted to see it before I head off for dinner.
