It was morning and I was walking around the village of Hallstatt. I can’t help but keep looking at the wonderful view and feel jealous that the people here would wake up to such lovely scenery every day. However, they now have to share this with thousands of other people who are not their neighbors every single day. Hallstatt has been featured in various films all over the world and it is probably not surprising that people who watched these films will be enticed to visit where it all happened. I was walking about the cemetery area and I noticed that there was a couple doing wedding photos.
The photographer looked like he knew the place and he wasn’t wrong. From just behind the church here at the cemetery, there is a path around the church where you get a look at the village from above. You can see the Evangelical Church of Hallstatt from here. It is a different view but I think I prefer the postcard view of Hallstatt. There really isn’t much space here and I knew that they were doing their photoshoot. I quickly got out of the way while the photographer was still trying to convince the groom to pose a certain way. Thinking back at it, I was surprised there was only one couple doing this. I thought this would have been the perfect place to do wedding shots.
