We were actually on our way out to dinner when we found out that there was a nice sunset going on, so dinner would have to wait a while. After all the photos were taken we then headed to the Henann Regency Resort, which is obviously another part of the Henann Group of Resorts. As with a lot of hotels and resorts here in Boracay, the Henann Regancy Resort also has its own restaurant. This one is named the Sea Breeze Cafe. This cafe/restaurant is noted for the quality of its buffet so it was a no-brainer that we try this place out.
We tried to book seats with the earlier in the day but it turned out that they don’t do reservations. I think this is understandable since they always have a queue outside the restaurant that they will always have customers coming here. We went there a bit earlier in the evening to make sure that we get seats. There was no queue at all and we were promptly seated. The restaurant itself looks very fancy as you might expect of a higher end hotel.
There were serveral tables here which serve food and I thought that their spreads were quite nice. It wasn’t all Filipino food here and there was a good variety of it. I helped myself to a lot of the food they have on display here and I thought it was all done very well. The dishes and tables were spread out so there wasn’t much crowding around the tables. I ended up going back three more times. I probably could have ate more but I have to watch my weight somewhat. They say that this is the best buffet on the island of Boracay and I don’t think I would doubt that. It is very good and I could eat here every night if I could.
