Most likely, your Boracay island hopping tour will first bring you to the other end of the island to Puka Beach. This rather isolated beach is named after the puka shells where are plentiful here. You could say that the beach itself was formed from puka shells. The beach is brilliantly white but courser than you would find in the main beach at Boracay. While you might not be the only one on the beach, there are definitely less people here compared to the main beach of Boracay.
Puka beach itself isn’t very big. You can easily traverse the beach in a few minutes. The sun was very high up by now and most people would either be in the water or hiding it whatever little shelter there is to find here. What is plentiful here are the touts for the crystal boats. This seems to be a relatively recent thing here. There are transparent canoes for hire here where they can take photographs of you. If you are into the social media side of things, then this is something you might want to do. The touts know what they are doing. Each customer is taken to the boat and brought to the water where they will do the photoshoot. They already have a fixed set of poses for you to do so there is no need to think of what to do. They obviously have been doing this for a while and they know what they are doing. Just hand them your phone or camera and let them do everything for you.
