If you somehow get tired of the very fine white sand beach here in Boracay, you will be glad to know that there is stuff to do other than swim in the beach. If you ever dare venture near the beach, chances are you will be accosted by countless touts offering island hopping tours and other water activities. We booked an island hopping tour here and we were heading towards our first stop. I think we were lucky to get a beautiful day on the very day of our island hopping tour in the rainy season. It was raining the previous day and we were lucky that it cleared up for us.
The morning was extremely busy where all the boats were. Usually the tours would start early morning so you should be able to get back at around one in the afternoon, just in time for lunch. There are tours which offer lunch but the food might not be to everyone’s tastes. We will be doing our tour first before heading back, hopefully it won’t take too long. Our first stop is at the other end of the island. It is called Puka Beach, because of the puka shells that are plentiful here. I don’t think it is possible to walk all the way here because of the way the land is but we have a boat to bring us there and I think even from far away, you can tell that this is a popular destination because of all the boats which are present in the area. I have been here before so I was looking forward to see how much this place has changed.
