I was very happy with my dinner of pork knuckle at Henninger am Turm in Frankfurt. I have been trying to find a pork knuckle cooked the way I wanted and I found it there. It was a bit of a walk from the old town but I didn’t mind as long as I found it. There is public transportation but I thought that it wasn’t that far anyway. I won’t be taking public transportation back since I want to walk away my dinner. It was still below freezing in the city of Frankfurt but I think I have already gotten used to it.
Frankfurt as you know is one of Europe’s most important financial centers. So I thought that it would be nice to get night shots of the city skyline. These places tend to look good at night because the skyscrapers would have there office lights on at night. I was a little worried because there is an energy crisis going on and there might not be lights on. I have read in the news how Germany was trying to conserve energy by turning down the lights. While this may be true for public lights, private establishments still need to get business done and thus need lights. I do not know if the lights here have already been turned down but it still looks good to me.
