I spent the rest of the afternoon on the other side of the River Main. There wasn’t really anything of interest to me there but I would have wanted to at least know what is there across the river. I say that without any disrespect to that part of the city but for me the most interesting part of the city of Frankfurt is the old town. By the time I was done, it was already sun down. It was winter time and the days are much shorter. This is also great if you are after a sunset photo since you don’t have to wait that long.
I was already making my way back to the financial district and I can see that the skies were already getting darker. The lights at the financial district were also turning one which I thought was the perfect time to take photos. I would probably be going around the old town once again but I thought that I should still take a photo here while the skies are still clear. In a way, I was also glad that because I just wanted to get back to the hotel since it was cold. I would have to do that after dinner.
