For the majority of this trip to Germany, I have been visiting heritage places. And why not? I think they are beautiful and interesting. I would know more about a country or region by visiting these places since more often than not these places would be tied to the history of the location. For now, I changed gears and I am visiting a much more modern place – the Zeil Shopping District. This is a shopping street which spans several city blocks. It is lined with shopping centers on both sides of the street. If you need anything you will surely find it here.
As you might expect, the shopping street was very busy. It gets really busy at night but it was still early so it wasn’t as bad yet. I don’t really know what to look for here, nor am I looking for anything in particular either. I would have to get something when I fly back but I think it would be best to scout the area. I would probably need to find a grocery store here and see if I can find any snacks there. The street itself would have been a nice place to hang out at but it is just too cold so I just spent most of the time inside the shopping malls.
