I think I spent a bit more time in Speyer than I expected. I wasn’t aware that the Jewish Court in Speyer was also a UNESCO World Heritage site. I thought that I would have to go to the city of Worms to see it but I’m glad that it is in Speyer because that I means visiting Worms would be lower in priority today. If I can finish earlier than I would have time to spare for Worms. In the meantime, I need to leave the city of Speyer. I am basically leaving the same way I came in.
While I did finish earlier, unfortunately, the train times didn’t cooperate with me, since there was a lot of time until the next train. These are the times that I would have wanted a car to drive here. Thinking about it, I wouldn’t have to worry about where to park the car if I only took public transportation. I was lucky that Germany is very well connected at least I know I would be able to get there. I would need to first go to the city of Worms and then transfer to another train to get to the next destination. There isn’t a direct train from Speyer but I think the town is too small to have a direct connection to Speyer.
