While that Speyer Cathedral is huge, it is almost boring inside. There wasn’t much to see apart from some architectural elements. I quickly head to the altar area which I thought wasn’t anything special either. I quickly got tired of it and started looking for places to see here. It turned out that there is a small chapel off to the side of the cathedral. I couldn’t tell what the name of the chapel was but I wasn’t exactly surprised at what I saw here.
The much like the main cathedral, the chapel here was also bare. I think the most interesting thing here was the wooden organ which I thought was quite fascinating. I doubt that the organ was anything special since I could just go and touch it. It looked like a very complicated instrument to use and I wouldn’t dream of using it. The longer I stay here the more that I was thinking that this would be a short visit since there wasn’t much to see here. I should get it over with and take photos of the place so I can move on to the next place. I would be visiting several places today, so that sooner I do this the better.
