When we were planning out the activities for this summer vacation at Algarve in Portugal, one of the main themes was that the activities should be kid friendly. We have small children with us and we should have activities for them whether they like it or not. Fortunately, it was easy enough to do here in Algarve. We stayed at Albufeira and there are a lot of kid friendly activities to do here. The apartment itself already has a swimming pool so hopefully they would be happy with that. But there is more. There is also the water parks and we went to a large and popular one called Zoomarine, which I have to admit was quite fun.
There obviously the beach but I’m not sure if the kids would appreciate swimming in salt water. Then of course, there is the boat tours. You would have to be blind to miss all these leaflets about boat tours here. If you could not find these tours, they will surely find you. We went to the Albufeira Marina to catch our boat which will bring us to a grand tour of the coast. There are several levels to these tours depending on your budget. There are quick ones which are cheap but they don’t bring you to a lot of places. There are fancier ones which have pinics at the beach. The staff would cook for you at the beach and there would even be drinks. This of course is one of the more expensive options. We went for a more affordable option since eating won’t be for everyone and drinks will only be for a couple of people in our group. After checking in with our group finally boarded and we were off. I was lucky to sit in the front row, hopefully, I would be able to get good shots.
