Walking Down the Albufeira Marina
During our school holiday trip to the Algarve in Portugal, we found out that the coastline of this part of the country is incredibly beautiful. I found out first hand when we went to Ponta da Piedade in Lagos which is a famous area in the whole country. The cliffs here are truly a sight to behold. We thought that we should go for those boat tours so we can see more. It would also be a great experience for the kids. I normally don’t go for such things but if you are with friends I know that it will be great fun. It took us a bit of time to book a tour. It was the height of summer and a lot of the slots were already booked up. That means it was difficult to get a tour at a nice time.
Pontoons at the Albufeira Marina
There are numerous booking agents in town and we ended up booking one at the Albufeira Marina where most of the trips would depart from. Of course, we chose Albufeira because that is the closest one to us. It seems that there are several travel agents here who operate these trips and it is good to have them all in one place which makes it easier to make a decision. Communication was no problem since almost everyone of them spoke English. I guess it makes sense for them to do so since they would be dealing with a lot of tourists. Tourists would need to check in before the trip to make sure that the operators know that you are already there.
