Numerous Trails at Ponta da Piedade
I ended up going to Ponta da Piedade in Lagos Portugal by myself. I made the most of my time by going to various view points in the peninsula. Most of the land is high up so you can see a lot of the cliffs and the ocean. There are also points where you can get closer to the sea. Further up there are some walking trails which can take you to various parts of the area. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to visit all of the trails since I would need to get back to the rest of the group soon. I only went to one and it seems that it leads directly to a beach which is down below.

I didn’t bother walking down to the beach even if you can see that almost everyone is going there. I was happy with the view from above and I thought that I would be good with photos of these. I know that I would make everyone jealous because of the photos but there were logistics problems which made it difficult for my friends to come along. Anyway, there are numerous paths here including one which crosses the peninsula and gives you access to the other side of Ponta da Piedade. I didn’t have time to do that but you can see where these trails are. If I had time I would have wanted to see the other side. Maybe next time.
