Building 10 of Massachusetts Institute of Technology
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology or just MIT is one of the most respected universities in the world. This is another one of those dream universities that I would have wanted to get into but I’m neither smart enough nor my parents rich enough to afford me attending school there. As the name implies, it is a research university specializing in technology. It is no wonder that technology companies have set up offices nearby to take advantage of the talent that comes here. Just like the nearby Harvard University, the grounds of the MIT are vast and it covers several city blocks.
Steps of Building 10 of Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Having visited Harvard University, I have come to lower my expectations on what I can see here since I know that I would not be able to enter the premises. At least the main building of MIT is viewable from the outside. Building 10 is probably the most recognizable face of MIT with its characteristic dome. MIT is much younger than Harvard University with MIT being established in the year 1861. Just like Harvard, MIT also has list of famous alumni, some of them I was surprised to see in the list. Looking at the list, it is clear that MIT can produce leaders in whatever fields their alumni chooses.
