I spent the morning going around the Harvard University grounds. Much as it is amazing to be walking around in places where very famous people once walked, there isn’t much to see here. The other structures which were interesting were either off limits or just closed. This is unfortunate since I was hoping to be able to see the place from the inside at least from a tourist point of view. I still took more photos but they weren’t that interesting after all. I decided to give up on this and move on to the next place.
It seems that this area of Massachusetts has a very high concentration of very high quality schools. I found out that the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is also nearby. I don’t know they were built side by side each other intentionally but it was convenient for me to just walk over to the next university. Apparently, some companies also had the same idea of being near the students. Google has an office here in Cambridge and it is right next to the university grounds. This would be perfect for catching any graduates who would be interested to work there.
