I spent a good amount of time at the Las Vegas Strip before I fly out of Las Vegas. My flight isn’t until ten in the evening so I have a lot of time. I didn’t take as many photos this time because I have already seen most of it the prhahahaevious day. I just wanted to chill as much as I can in this hot desert city. I have come to appreciate this unique city. I now realize that it caters to a whole range of visitors and not just gamblers. There are shopping malls, shows, restaurants to keep non-gamblers entertained. This suits me fine. I think I would consider visiting again if only to get access to the surrounding area.
I took the bus back to the hotel to get much luggage and booked a car for my trip to the airport. It is silly since the Strip was already right beside the airport, unfortunately, my hotel is not as near. I was surprised to see that my ride turned out to be a Tesla, I have never rode in on before and I was quite excited. I thought that Las Vegas is really a fabulous place because it turns Teslas into rideshares. It turns out that the driver was evaluating whether to purchase one and turned it into a rideshare to get a feel of the car, and also earn money back. I don’t know if it is enough to offset the rental cost but I thought that it was a great idea.
I was dropped at the Harry Reid International Airport. I didn’t get to take photos of the airport when I first arrived so I took this chance to do now. What is most striking about the airport is the presence of various gambling machines. In fact, it doesn’t look that different from a casino, albeit they have less machines. Are you bored waiting for your plane at the departure gate? Why not gamble for a bit. It really came as a shock to me, even though I was warned about this, that right after getting out of the plane, there are already gambling machines here. I don’t think you see it anywhere else.
