Canal at The Venetian
For me, one of the most iconic hotel casinos at the Las Vegas Strip is The Venetian. I am most probably biased because I have heard of The Venetian even when I was kid so I would always remember the imagery of The Venetian. As you know, the theme of The Venetian is Venice in Italy. When someone talks about Venice, I would always imagine their canals and of course the gondolas. I was very pleased to see that they actually have a replica of a canal here in the middle of the desert. I took several photos of the place and proceeded inside the hotel. By now, I am very comfortable with the fact that anyone can just go in the hotel and take photos.
Inside The Venetian
The Venetian is indeed as fancy inside as it looks from the outside. I was delighted to see that the is an extension of the canal that goes in the hotel. This is even enhanced by having a fake sky above it. This gives you the illusion that you are indeed in Venice. This is also the first time I heard that gondoliers sing, it was a bit difficult to hear him outside but inside the hotel you can really hear them sing. From the looks of it, The Venetian seems to have one of the most attractive interiors that I have seen among those that I have visited and I am glad that I dropped by before I leave.
