I seemed to have arrived at a well known area in the Las Vegas Strip. There are a number of famous hotel and casinos which even I have heard of. I just had a look at The Mirage but I think directly across it is another one of these famous hotels. The Venetian is probably one of the more iconic hotel casinos at Las Vegas. I have heard about them because they have a similar hotel in Macau. While I can’t wait to get inside and see the interiors. I can see that from the name alone, the theme of this hotel is obviously Italy, specifically Venice. I don’t know if anything is actually specifically Venetian here but I think I will find out.
Almost immediately, I see a signature sight of Venice and that is the Rialto Bridge which is a covered bridge in Venice. I think it is a little smaller than the original one but it is unmistakably the Rialto. They have a pool outside the hotel to simulate the canals of Venice. They even have gondalas going around. I don’t know how far these gondolas travel though. It would be cool if they go all the way inside the hotel. There are also towers here which you would think you would see in Italy. I don’t know if there is an actual Italian equivalent of these features but I wouldn’t be surprised if there really was.
