The Fremont Street Experience is one of the signature sights in Las Vegas. It is a street covered with a canopy that has a digital display named Vivo Display. I thought that this was a relatively new addition since LED screens have only been common relatively recently, however this display predates any LED technology. In fact, they had to make do with incandescent lamps which is expensive and prone to burning out. Back then, the resolution of the canopy display was low but improvements over the years have resulted in a brilliant high resolution display which is now even visible in the day time. As you might expect here in Las Vegas, there are free shows here and it is certainly enjoyable to just looking at the gigantic display. However, that is not the only thing you can see here.
As you keep walking along Fremont Street, you might be able to spot some people zipping overhead. Yes, there is a zip line here named Slotzilla, which lets visitors fly over peoples’ heads and I can imagine that it is an interesting experience. As the name implies, Slotzilla looks like a giant slot machine. You can climb this tower at one end of the street and zip down to the other end. There are, of course the restaurants and casinos which line the street and for sure that a lot of people come here for that. Also hard to miss are the entertainers which are here. There will be people doing magic acts, or just plain drawing portraits, and even the more adult themed jobs. These people are limited within their own little circle so avoid bugging people I suppose. But there would be ones who are roaming around the area as well.
