I was part of a tour group to the Antelope Slot Canyon. The tour groups would go in in batches to keep the canyon from getting overcrowded. I thought we were going a bit too fast for my taste but I was lagging behind to take photos but I didn’t get left behind. There is only one way forward so no one will get lost here. If you do get left behind here, there would always be the next group behind you and their tour guide will make sure you get back to your group. That didn’t happen to me since I would take my photos and run back to my group. All this time I was paying attention to whatever our tour guide was saying.
As it is standard for tours like these, there will always pointing out certain rock formations. Sometimes it isn’t just a rock but because of the way the rock was carved, the light would shine on it in a certain way and it would produce an image that would be recognizable to people. Some of these images can be a bit of a stretch but I think it is fun to try to find these yourself. If you don’t see it, the tour guide would make sure you do. He would take the photo and point it out to you to make sure you see it. For me this is something which is just amusing. The beauty of the cavern is already more than enough to keep me happy.
