Walking Through Antelope Slot Canyon
I am sure that I have seen photos of Antelope Slot Canyon in different places. I distinctly remember seeing this as a Windows wallpaper. I never did think much of it other than it being nice. But it never crossed my mind to try to visit the place. Years later, I managed to find Antelope Slot Canyon, and I am on a tour of this beautiful place. Visiting the Antelope Slot Canyon is basically a matter of just going through the canyon. It is an easy walk but you will be there with a lot of other people. It was summer when I visited and there were other buses of visitors together with us. Granted that you don’t go in all at the same time, you will still have to either wait for the ones in front of you to move forward, or be forced to keep moving because there are people behind you.
Narrow Walls of Antelope Slot Canyon
Much as I want to hang around the slot canyon, I had to keep going. Our tour guide makes sure we all go as a group although sometimes I would lag behind to try to get some photos without any people. There is only one way out, so I don’t think I would get lost here. Our tour guide is very thoughtful in making sure that everyone gets a photos of whatever he was pointing out. A shape of an eagle somewhere, a dragon’s eye, or even the rock where Britney Spears sat on in her music video. If you can’t see whatever he was pointing at, he would get your phone and take a photo of it. I must say he is well versed in using the phone camera and making the photo look good.
