This was getting predictable now. I was trying to get out of the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to make my way to the border of Arizona and Utah but there are several viewpoints along the way which tell you to stop and have a look. While I admit that the Grand Canyon is an amazing place, it is also possible to have too much of a good thing. In this case, the spots start to look like the last one. It doesn’t help that these are basically different angles of the same thing. True, each angle provides a different perspective to the canyon. Every angle has its own story to tell.

Navajo Point is the highest point on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is actually difficult to tell since the rim is already so high above the canyon floor. Sure enough, the Navajo Point is another view into the Grand Canyon. There is a solid wall on the right that would look great for sunsets. Below where the canyon floor is, you can see some of the oldest rocks here in the canyon. This just goes to show you the power of nature. It may not be that obvious to human lifespans but over the millennia, the Colorado river has carved out an amazing piece of art.
