I ended up spending most of the time at Pollet Search all by myself. There was a family that was there when I arrived but they were already on their way back but the time I got there. By the time I was on my way back there was another group of people making their way here. It was almost like we were all taking turns to enjoy the place. In reality, you don’t really need too much time here. Anyway, I need to head back now since it was actually starting to get a bit warm, warm by Ireland standards. Looking back at the new walkway, it looks really good but also intimidating now that I need to climb all the way back.
The slope isn’t so bad that it is difficult to get back up but if you do have difficulty to get back, there are seats built into the wooden fence so you can rest and admire the scenery at the same time. I thought it would be good to show people exactly where I parked. You can see from the photo that the left side has a little bit of parking but it can only accommodate only a handful of vehicles. Your best bet would be to park at the brand new car park up the road. To the right of the photo, you can see a single lane road, it would be best not to drive in here since there is no where else to go. You would run the risk of having to reverse back a narrow road. Leave your car and start walking that path. You should see the new walkway on the right.
