The Pollet Sea Arch is one of those places which I never knew was so near and yet so relatively unknown. I only came to know about this place fairly recently but it was only until a proper walkway was constructed that I was able to visit this place. It was just recently opened when I visited, so I was one of only a few people who were there at the time. In fact, for the most part, I was the only person there the whole time. The sea arch is to the left of the beach and it can be easily seen from it. You can also take a closer look at the arch if the tide is low, but it seems that the tide is a bit high so there is no access to the arch. I wouldn’t want to take a chance on going there just to get stuck at the arch when the tide comes in.
Visitors can have a better view of the from the left but there is only so far you can go. One option might be to climb the cliff on the left but I wouldn’t even dare to do that. Firstly, the area is private property. Secondly, it seems dangerous and there is really no proper path. They did built the walkway for a reason. I did see old photos of the place where the arch appears to have been photographed from a higher place. Unless you have a drone, I don’t think that is possible to do anymore. For now, you can just appreciate the sea arch from the safety of the beach.
