Like I a lot of places here in Paris, I somehow stumbled into the Louvre Museum. This won’t be the first time that I came here. The last time I was here, tourism was huge and there was no pandemic. As a result, there was a queue to go in the museum. I wasn’t here in the day time when the museum is open but I would think the like a lot of other places here in Paris, the foot traffic at the Louvre wouldn’t be anywhere near how it was before. For me, it suits just fine because it can be a pain to have to queue up just to get in the museum. It would be a pain to fight with other people just to see the famous art pieces that are on display here.
Depending on your point of view, it might be better this way. When I first visited, we were in such a hurry that I didn’t really enjoy my visit to the museum at all. What’s more just taking in all of the exhibits can be very exhausting as well. Much as you would say that you prefer to see everything at you own pace, it really isn’t very realistic since there really is that many to see here. However, I won’t be going in the museum this time. I haven’t been to the museum at night and I can now see how beautiful it really is at night. You can see the Parisians just walking around and taking photos. It is a pleasant place to be in.
