It was at the end of the day and I have seen a lot of iconic places here in Paris. I enjoyed this visit a lot since I wasn’t running from one place to another. In a sense, I still was but this time I control my time. I didn’t need to run after trains or anything like that I was just walking from one place to another. I can see that the sun has already gone down and although it was still only four in the afternoon, it was already a bit dark. I didn’t really have a destination in mind as I was just weaving my way across and back the River Seine. I ran into the Institut de France which seemed like it was a very important building but I didn’t know how near I was to something more well known.
I crossed the river one more time because there seems to be an important place across the Institut de France. I can only tell because a lot of people seem to be heading that way. The building across the river didn’t seem to be that impressive at first glance but if people were all making their way here, perhaps there is something here that I might want to know. Sure enough, the buildings here look very palatial. The designs of the building are French Renaissance which is common in French royal palaces. I think stumbled into another important place. Isn’t Paris great?
