By this time, I was sick of seeing all these incredibly beautiful apartments and rooms that I was just taking photos and just walking on. One can only take so much of this. It is a wonder that the kings or emperors that would be here can stand this every day. No matter how beautiful it is, if you see it everyday, you soon get tired of it. This is what happened when I visited Versailles and it happened again this time when I visited Chateau de Fontainebleau. There would be some variety, like a beautiful gallery or hall but they would tend to feel the same to me.
Probably one of the places which stands apart from the rest is the Chapel of the Trinity. As you might expect, the palace also has it own place of worship. The Chapel of the Trinity is a beautiful chapel in one corner of the palace. I actually passed it by earlier but it seems that I was in the wrong location since I was only looking at it from above. Eventually I made it to the ground floor and I was lucky that there were hardly any people here. This chapel reminds me a bit of the Sistine Chapel. Of course, it is not as magnificent as that but it does a good job trying to be like it. There were some events that were held in this chapel. Louis XV got married here. Napoleon III was also baptized here. Obviously, this chapel was important to the royals just as much as they took great efforts to make it looks amazing.
