I was happy enough with the wine tasting tour at Moët and Chandon, the tour guide explains a lot of things well that I kept me interested about something like wine making. Once we were done with the actual wine tasting, I was back on the streets. I was thinking of what else I could see here but it seems like most of the interesting spots are on Avenue de Champagne which I have already explored prior to the wine tasting tour. This means that I am actually free to go back to Reims. I have a bit more time so I just went around downtown but there didn’t seem to be anything interesting apart from the local church.
My return train is scheduled at half past five in the afternoon. I booked a later train out of an abundance of caution in case the tour runs longer than expected. But now, I am done and I didn’t want to wait that two more hours just for my train, I took the next train anyway, since no one would be checking if you on the correctly scheduled train. I don’t think I would get into trouble since I purchased a ticket anyway, it was just not for that time. By the time I got back to Reims, it was already starting to get dark. I thought to do some exploration of the other side of Reims since I have only been to the side where the cathedrals are. There seems to be very lively street here which is lined with restaurants, maybe I can have my dinner here.
