I somehow managed to get a spot on a wine tasting tour but it won’t be happening until a little over an hour later. I thought that this would give me the time to explore the Avenue de Champagne while waiting for the tour. I don’t really know how long the Avenue de Champagne is, I’m just hoping that I would see enough of the important places that I won’t need to go around again after the tour, after all, I still have a train to catch in the afternoon. Fortunately for me, the avenue is very straightforward to explore. I would say that the tourist office marks the start of the avenue. Of course, there is always Moët and Chandon occupying a very prominent position along the avenue. A lot would consider that the starting point of any tour of the avenue.
Since I would be visiting Moët and Chandon as part of a wine tasting tour, I would skip that first and see the rest of the avenue. That is interesting to see here along the Avenue de Champagne is the presences of beautiful houses/mansions along this single street. This gives the avenue an air of elegance and sophistication that you might not find in other places. Imagine having multiple wine houses trying to out-compete each other in term of larger and more beautiful houses all along a single street then you would end up with a very beautiful street.
