The village of Baltimore is tiny enough to explore in an hour. This is primarily due to the fact that the Baltimore Castle didn’t seem to be open for visitors at the time. I still didn’t know what was up with that, since there were actually people inside. Maybe it was a private event. Anyway, one of the major landmarks here in Baltimore is actually outside the main village. It is actually possible to walk to the location, but of course, I’m lazy, but my official reason is that I don’t have a lot of time to spend on walking to that place. It would probably just take anyone around thirty minutes to walk there, so if you have time to spare, then I think it is worthwhile activity.
The trail is easy to spot since you would see a steady stream of people walking towards it. It almost felt embarrassing to drive there since everyone else seems to be walking. Still, I have my own reasons. The car park is small and it can only fit a handful or cars. Fortunately, it was late afternoon so there weren’t as many people there. I would still have to push people off the trail because my car was making its way up the hill. Once you get there, there is a pure walking trail that goes out of the car park. This area is a bit more exposed to the winds so it would be best to be careful here.
