The plan for the day is to keep following the western coast until I need to check in the bed and breakfast. That wouldn’t be until early evening so I don’t have to worry about that for now. I was basically trying to follow the Cork section of the Wild Atlantic Way. I thought that as long as I follow this route, I will surely find something nice. The next destination is a place called Toe Head. I have never heard of this place before but it seems to be quite significant for it to find a spot on the Wild Atlantic Way. As I was making my way there, I found myself traveling on a road which has a view of the coast. I can see that both ends of the scenery end in cliffs. Based on experience, I would expect that there would be something nice there.
I decided to head to the left first. This ultimately leads me to a place called Sandycove. The road here is very narrow and it is only wide enough for one vehicle. I wasn’t too worried since there is very little traffic here. Then again, it is these times where you need to be careful because some people would think the same way and drive recklessly. It is times like these where there would be accidents seemingly in the middle of nowhere. This Sandycove is to at the end of a rough road and I was then surprised to see that there are still people enjoying the beach here.
